What Is MyBambu?
MyBambu is a financial institution delivering the first all-in-one mobile digital banking solution targeting the Hispanic unbanked and underbanked population. The mission of MyBambu is to promote financial inclusion to the unbanked and underbanked by providing an array of financial solutions delivered via mobile devices. Your Opportunity:
This position is a full-time, position reporting to the Chief Marketing and Operations Officer. As the Creative Manager, you will lead a team of content creators, video editors, and graphic designers in producing high-quality multimedia content for MyBambu fintech products and services. This role requires a blend of creative expertise, team leadership, and hands-on skills in content creation, video editing, and graphic design. You will collaborate closely with MyBambu teams to ensure that our content aligns with our brand guidelines, engages our target audience, and drives business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of content creators, video editors, and graphic designers to deliver compelling and impactful multimedia content.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop and execute content strategies that align with MyBambu brand identity, target audience, and marketing goals.
- Content Creation: Create and oversee the creation of engaging written content, videos, infographics, and other multimedia assets for various marketing channels.
- Video Production: Direct video shoots, edit footage, and produce high-quality videos that tell compelling stories and showcase MyBambu products and services.
- Graphic Design: Oversee the design process for marketing materials, including digital ads, social media graphics, website assets, and print collateral.
- Creative Direction: Provide creative direction and feedback to team members, ensuring that all content and designs meet quality standards and MyBambu brand guidelines.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging across all channels.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, meet deadlines, and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of content.
Skill and Abilities:
- Creative Expertise: Strong creative vision and storytelling skills, with the ability to conceptualize and produce engaging multimedia content that resonates with MyBambu target audience.
- Content Creation: Proficiency in content creation tools and platforms, including writing compelling copy, designing visual assets, and producing multimedia content for digital and traditional marketing channels.
- Team Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor creative teams to achieve excellence in content creation and design.
- Collaboration: Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external teams to align content strategies with business objectives.
- Project Management: Proven experience in project management, including prioritizing tasks, managing timelines, allocating resources, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality content and designs.
- Creative Direction: Ability to provide clear creative direction and constructive feedback to team members, ensuring that all content and designs meet quality standards, MyBambu brand guidelines, and marketing objectives.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with multimedia software tools and platforms, including Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects), and content management systems (CMS).
- Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of audience segmentation, digital marketing strategies, and industry trends, able to develop and execute content strategies that drive engagement and conversions.
- Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and business needs, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment within the fintech industry.
- Continuous Learning: Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies, best practices, and industry innovations in content creation, video production, and graphic design.
Job Requirements:
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field.
- Proven experience five (5) or more years in content creation, video editing, graphic design, and team management.
- Proficiency in multimedia software tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects), Canva, and video editing software.
- Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor creative teams.
- Knowledge of fintech industry trends, digital marketing strategies, and audience segmentation is a plus.
Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
