Copywriter & Content Strategist

ZeroFox seeks an experienced and proven Copywriter and Content Strategist to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Brand, Creative, and Content, this person will own and execute ZeroFox’s tone of voice and content strategy focused on driving full-funnel value to buyers’ journeys. Role and responsibilities
- Develop and execute ZeroFox’s content strategy, focusing on providing full-funnel value and relevant content to target prospects
- Create, own, and execute full-funnel annual roadmaps
- Oversee copywriting and content creation from freelancers and agencies
- Define, train, and maintain ZeroFox’s brand tone and voice
- Research, interview, write, and edit relevant, valuable, and persuasive content
- Strategically scale content across channels and touchpoints to maximize both content effectiveness and efficiency
- Partner with Sr. Design leader to refine brand standards
- Collaborate with and influence key stakeholders to develop solutions that drive engagement and results for end users
- Collaborate with the marketing, design, and web teams as well as internal stakeholders, and subject matter experts to lead the creation and deployment of integrated marketing campaign copy
- Lead the creation of distinct industry thought leadership, and innovative solutions
- Work closely with key stakeholders to develop brand and product-specific messaging that builds the foundation for campaign and content strategies

Responsibility Breakdown
Required qualifications and skills
- Samples or a portfolio of work required to be considered
- Experience leading copy, content production, and campaign content strategy, typically obtained in 6-8 years
- Ability to build strong working relationships with design and marketing leads
- Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, with a track record of transforming complicated concepts into compelling, easily digestible messaging
- Experience creating digital content targeting B2B customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including proficiency in big idea conceptualization, copywriting, and proofreading
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced, team oriented environment
- Proven ability to influence teams and lead cross-functional projects with positive intent, optimism, and assertiveness
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, juggling multiple projects with aggressive deadlines
- Bachelors degree in writing, marketing, or a related field

- This position may entail up to 15% regional travel
- This role is based out of our office in Baltimore, MD (hybrid)
- This role requires occasional work on nights and weekends as needed.
