Role Summary:
inKind is looking for a Contract Specialist to support our growing legal and business needs. You will perform various duties and tasks that directly support inKind’s legal, finance, and executive teams including conducting relevant research, drafting/reviewing contracts and other documents, and maintaining files. This role is expected to possess a sound work ethic and commitment to confidentiality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Perform searches on potential new inKind partners to gather, organize and prepare various files and documents
- Prepare contracts and reports for new and existing inKind partners
- Coordinate the delivery and receipt of important legal documents
- Assist in the enforcement of our contracts
- Organize and maintain documents and files to assist Legal, Finance, and Executive teams in decision making
- Keep track of changes in legal framework and provide timely updates on these changes
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a Contract Specialist or in a transferable role such as Loan Officer, Underwriter, Title Agent, and/or Paralegal
- Experience in preparing legal reports, contracts, or loan documents
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Fluency with indexes, templating, file management, and document management systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, business, communications, or legal studies
Work Environment:
- The candidate in this position will be primarily located in an office environment and be exposed to lighting, temperature, and noise level conditions typical of that environment
- This position is primarily in-person, with an expectation of in-person work at the physical office location in Austin, Texas

Salary:
- $70,000 - 90,000, DOE
