Current Need: We are seeking an "Associate Level" Ecommerce Performance Analyst to join our team in Richmond, VA. Our preferred candidate will be living within an hour's distance to our Richmond office. This position works remotely, but will still spend time in office with the team.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will support the analysis of website and back-end ecommerce data, identify trends, and provide insights to drive business growth and improve the online customer experience. You will work closely with our senior analyst to optimize website and ecommerce performance, track key metrics, and contribute to data-driven decision-making. Our ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of web analytics, a strong analytical mindset, and a passion for learning and growing in the field of data analysis.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in web data analysis:

• Collect and organize web and ecommerce data using tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Looker BI, and Power BI
• Assist in analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can lead to website and ecommerce optimization.
• Support monitoring website and ecommerce performance metrics and help track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Help lead the web analytics initiatives with our OneTrack website, ORBITS website, and our McKesson Choice Rewards program.

2. Assist in generating reports and dashboards:

• Assist in creating regular reports and dashboards to communicate key metrics and performance indicators to stakeholders.
• Support the development of automated reporting processes to streamline data analysis and reporting activities.
• Assist the Senior Analyst in building a marketing dashboard within Looker (Google's BI Tool)

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams:

• Work closely with the digital marketing, ecommerce, and web development teams to identify website and ecommerce optimization and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable analytics strategies.

4. Stay updated on industry trends:

• Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in web analytics, e-commerce analytics, data analysis, and digital marketing.
• Continuously explore new tools and techniques to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.

Requirements:

• 0-2 years of relevant experience

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Marketing, Statistics, or related field strongly preferred
• HS Diploma or equivalent required

Critical Preferred Skills:

• Strong knowledge of SQL preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience using tools such as Looker Studio, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI preferred
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze data with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward learning and taking on new challenges.

Additional Skills:

• Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn and grow in the field of data analysis.
• Strong communication working within a collaborative team environment

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$51,800 - $86,400
