Save On Energy is an online marketplace that simplifies how you shop your energy service in Texas. Our purpose at Save On Energy is to provide customers with competitive energy plans from top providers, focusing on the Texas deregulated energy and solar energy markets. We combine our knowledge of the energy market with our trusted partnerships with top providers to connect customers to reliable energy plans for their homes.

As a Customer Experience Associate, you will manage multi-variate testing, analysis, and reporting for our Save On Energy sales business, which partners with deregulated energy suppliers in Texas to help customers who are starting or transferring their electric service shop for competitive rates for their electricity supply. You will analyze & communicate performance, as well as own operational initiatives. The role will include cross functional collaboration with creative and tech, project management, performance/test analysis, and presentations with team & senior leaders.  This role will enable you to think critically and creatively to make a meaningful impact to our bottom line as well as shape strategy for growth for the energy business.  At Red Ventures, you won’t just analyze the data – you’ll own your work; from ideation and strategy to implementation.

We believe in empowering our analysts to not just deep dive into our wealth of data, but to turn data-driven insights into action on their business, while learning next to a group of motivated, competitive co-workers that take their work seriously, but not themselves. Our growth-oriented culture puts a premium on mentorship, autonomy, L&D, and rapid career development.

This will be a hybrid role based out of our South Charlotte area office with expected in-office days of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week.

What You'll Do:

  • Analyze business performance data, prepare detailed reports, and lead onsite multivariate testing initiatives to enhance customer experience and drive growth.
  • Bridge the gap between extensive data sets and impactful business solutions, emphasizing practical application.
  • Translate intricate business challenges into measurable projects, identifying growth opportunities through detailed analysis.
  • Utilize machine learning algorithms and data tools to manipulate large datasets for data-driven solutions.
  • Analyze and communicate the impact of data products, experiments, and deployments effectively.
  • Stay informed about cutting-edge technologies like deep learning and generative AI to innovate problem-solving approaches.
  • Collaborate across departments to develop testing strategies aligned with organizational goals.

What We're Looking For:

  • 1-2 years of analytics, data-driven marketing, and/or data science experience
  • Strong grit and learning mentality when faced with challenging projects, unfamiliar technology, and ambiguous business problems
  • Ability to collect, mine, and manipulate data from disparate data sources, with a willingness to dig deeper and understand the process that creates data
  • Demonstrated ability to drive decisions and behavior changes through analytical capabilities and data-driven solutions, and the ability to measure and analyze the impact of these solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights, and effectively communicate these insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with machine learning, statistical modeling, and optimization, with hands-on experience working directly or indirectly on a related problem (e.g., Python or R).
  • Foundational analytics toolkit - data extraction, manipulation, and visualizations (e.g., SQL, Pandas, Tableau, ggplot)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen and capability of coming up with creative ideas to create value for consumers and businesses
  • Scrappy, tenacious, and self-motivated
  • BUT - also a team player with no ego, a competitive spirit, and great sense of humor
  • Passionate about working in a dynamic, fast-paced, performance-driven environment

Compensation:

Cash Compensation Range: $80,000 - $82,000*
