Job Description
Join our Analytics Solutions team, your work will make Commercial Banking employees more effective and efficient in their roles, with specific focus on the Government, Healthcare, Higher Education, Non-Profits and Capital Advisory Services.
As a Vice President on the Analytics Solutions team within Commercial Bank, you will be responsible for leading the management and development of various data initiatives for the organization to improve processes and sales outcomes in the Commercial Bank. You will partner closely with Reporting & Analytics leads to deliver solutions using a combination of existing data assets and also identify new capabilities that need to be developed - in some cases, directly supporting the new capability development. You must have superior data analysis skills and the ability to articulate business impacts and formulate recommendations.
Job responsibilities

  • Manage a high-volume and high-complexity reporting and analytics book of work, leveraging project management discipline.
  • Collaborate with Executive Management end users, Analytics & Reporting leads, Technology partners, developers, and other stakeholders
  • Develop a deep understanding of systems and processes in order to extract insights from existing data.
  • Translating high-level operational business needs into actionable intermediate or complex design analysis
  • Define, design and development of automated strategic data solutions (e.g., Alteryx, SQL, R, Python).
  • Presenting recommendations to management and business partners (including business implications) and determining how to best summarize and visualize the results.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 5+ years of experience managing complex quantitative data initiatives and business intelligence delivery/reporting and process improvements.
  • 2+ years of managerial experience leading a team of business intelligence developers
  • Competent in the use of data technology to solve complex business problems, with hands-on expertise in the use of multiple Business Intelligence toolsets and database platforms, examples include Alteryx, SQL, R, Python.
  • Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy - proven ability to produce quality results timely.

  • Experience developing solutions in QlikSense
