• Worker's Compensation is ~$3B line of business across Small Commercial (SC) and Middle/Large Commercial (MLC), and HIG is a market leader within the WC industry.
• This rotation plays a key role for the Workers Comp LOB Actuarial team and provides the candidate with the unique opportunity to interact with customers across both SC and MLC business segments including Product, Segment, Underwriting, Claim Analytics, and multiple groups across Actuarial. This rotation will have responsibilities and exposure on the analysis, monitoring and presentation of multiple projects including trend, loss ratio projections, planning, rate filings, and account segmentation initiatives.

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees.
