As a Senior Manager of Organization Design and Strategic Workforce Planning , you will play a crucial role in shaping the structure, capabilities, and talent landscape of the organization. Key responsibilities include aligning workforce strategies and design with business goals, ensuring optimal utilization of human capital, and preparing the organization for future challenges through planful organization design. This role bridges the gap between organizational design and workforce planning and drives alignment between people plans and business goals.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Organization Design and Strategic Workforce Planning, this role will partner with the business to gain deep insight into internal operations as well as the external market factors that influence CCI's strategy, goals, and performance.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Organizational Design Development
    • Lead the design, development, and implementation of organizational design and operating model solutions for business units and departments. This includes conducting organizational assessments, project planning and execution, high level organization design creation, financial modelling and implementation planning support.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand strategic plans and create structures, processes and models that align with these organization objectives.
    • Formulate sound, reliable, and comprehensive recommendations rooted in solid design principles to improve the organization's performance and business results.
    • Develop recommendations to enhance organizational capabilities, span of control, and overall efficiency.
    • Identify and develop best-in-class practices, tools, and templates to deliver repeatable org design projects.
  • Communication, Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
    • Provide coaching and facilitation to leaders as they navigate SWP and org design activities.
    • Possess business acumen to anticipate and communicate current and emerging organization and SWP practices.
    • Stay informed about changes and trends in SWP and organization design, proactively surfacing recommendations and insights to the business.
    • Partner with HRBPs to lead change management efforts related to workforce planning, ensuring smooth transitions during organizational changes.
    • Communicate workforce planning strategies effectively to stakeholders across the organization.
    • Work closely with business line leaders and executives to optimize business planning and analytics within the workforce planning process.
  • Strategic Workforce Forecasting and Planning
    • Lead the development of comprehensive workforce forecasts and plans for various business lines . This involves scenario planning, modeling, environmental scanning, and gap analysis.
    • Collaborate with senior leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into actionable workforce strategies.
    • Monitor and evaluate progress against the workforce plan, making necessary adjustments as needed.
    • Support broader talent management efforts by aligning workforce strategies with talent development initiatives.
  • Data Analysis
    • Leverage quantitative skills to analyze workforce trends and anticipate future needs.
    • Provide insights on critical roles and competencies required for successful strategy execution by function.
    • Understand labor market demographics and workforce implications specific to the organization.
    • Design and develop analytic models, tools and procedures, conduct statistical/financial analysis, create supply and demand forecasts, discover and articulate business impact and insights.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum

  • BA/BS degree in related discipline (i.e. Business, Finance, Statistics, Human Resources, Economics, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, etc.) with 8 years of experience required in a related field (i.e. Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational, etc.); OR 12 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, adept at working through teams to achieve objectives, strong interpersonal, and collaboration skills.


Preferred

  • MS degree + 6 years of experience preferred in a related discipline (i.e. Business, Finance, Statistics, Human Resources, Economics, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, etc.); OR Ph.D + 3 years of experience in a related discipline (i.e. Business, Finance, Statistics, Human Resources, Economics, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, etc.)
  • Experience building statistical models.
  • Certifications like SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) or SWPP (Strategic Workforce Planning Professional) are advantageous.


USD 117,300.00 - 195,500.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $117,300.00 - $195,500.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
