Senior Compensation Analyst
Cox Enterprises is currently looking for a Senior Compensation Analyst to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia . This is a hybrid role, and the schedule is a mix of work-from-office/work-from-home.
Your Role:
The Senior Compensation Analyst requires an individual who can handle multiple priorities simultaneously, understands the broader impact of the requests they process, and effectively maintains governance and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset toward continuous improvement in compensation practices.
Job Summary:
- Efficiently manage intake forms and shared email boxes, ensuring prompt responses and accurate processing.
- Submit, track, and communicate the creation of job codes or changes to job attributes in Workday.
- Evaluate and level positions within the compensation framework based on factors such as job responsibilities, required skills, market competitiveness, and ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards.
- Assist with compensation surveys to collect and analyze market data on salary benchmarks, trends, and compensation practices within relevant industries and geographical areas to maintain the company's competitive position in the marketplace.
- Contribute to the reporting and analysis of compensation data to support annual deliverables such as merit budget recommendations, salary structure management, and grade adjustments.
- Consult with management on specific business needs as they relate to compensation programs.
- Present data and provide recommendations to leadership for their use in making operational decisions and identifying process improvements.
- Works with division Compensation counterparts to uphold the enterprise-wide career framework and maintain governance.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance compensation processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives related to compensation program design, implementation, and optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in related field (i.e. Compensation, Human Resources, Financial Analysis, Data Analytics). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years' experience in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
- Strong quantitative reasoning skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Workday, Payfactors, and SmartSheet.
USD 85,500.00 - 128,300.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $85,500.00 - $128,300.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
