GlobalWonks announced its rebrand as Enquire AI this week and that it raised a $5.5 million Series A funding round led by Uzabase with participation from Teneo Ventures and Blu Ventures.

In a digital world overflowing with unreliable information, Enquire AI makes it easy to get the right information quickly and easily. The D.C.-based startup is an AI-powered insight platform. Its patented Pulse Platform uses AI to connect companies with experts on thousands of subjects from all over the world in real-time. The company’s core product, Network Pulse, helps companies make timely decisions by leveraging rapid, curated insights. In a matter of minutes, anyone from anywhere can receive multiple responses from vetted sources.

The platform is scalable and can be integrated as an API into adjacent SaaS applications, making it easy for companies to incorporate Enquire AI’s network of experts into existing products. That way, companies can not only get immediate insight themselves but offer it to their customers as well. The company’s rebrand was due in part to better showcase this ability as well as its AI capabilities and strengthen the global resonance beyond its D.C. base.

“Enquire AI is committed to helping companies become knowledge-efficient. This rebrand allows us to unlock the full potential of enterprises and professionals by providing cutting-edge AI-powered technology to leverage both in-house or external expertise,” Cenk Sidar, Enquire AI co-founder and CEO, said in a statement.

The new funds will be used for hiring, marketing efforts and rolling out new API partnerships. The company also plans to execute more business development-related roadshows both in-person and virtually, an Enquire AI spokesperson told Built In via email. The company is currently hiring for positions in sales, marketing, finance and engineering.

Enquire AI isn’t the only D.C. company to recently undergo a rebrand. Just last month, Cloudtamer.io rebranded itself as Kion to better represent itself as a comprehensive cloud enablement solution.
