Leads enterprise architecture initiatives for the City of Tucson, aligning technology solutions with business objectives while reducing technical debt and operational risk. Translates stakeholder needs into scalable architecture roadmaps, standards, governance, and technical guidance. Evaluates technology investments, manages architectural trade-offs, ensures security and regulatory compliance, and leads enterprise-wide solution design. Communicates complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, advises leadership, and mentors other IT architects.

Designs, develops, and maintains APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), data pipelines, and data architecture to support analytics and business intelligence. Performs database tuning, integration, documentation, monitoring, and optimization. Collaborates with developers and stakeholders and completes assigned projects under supervision.

Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions for IT and OT/SCADA environments. Administer SIEM/EDR, develop detection rules and automation, perform incident response and forensic investigations, monitor telemetry, recommend remediations, apply NIST/CIS/Zero Trust controls, and produce security documentation and guidance.
