23andMe is seeking a Head of Social Media (Senior Manager) to lead a team in creating and implementing highly shareable and on-brand social media content. The ideal candidate will have a track record of developing creative social media campaigns, understanding social media capabilities, and integrating social media into brand marketing efforts. They will collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to engage customers and drive acquisition through various social media platforms.

Join 23andMe's Core Engineering team as a Senior Software Engineer on the Ancestry team. Design and build features for users to explore their genetic heritage, connect with relatives, and visualize ancestral roots. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver secure, high-quality code and APIs for consumer-facing experiences. Mentor other engineers and contribute to technical excellence.

Design and develop new algorithms and analysis tools that combine genetic variation information with other molecular, cellular, and phenotypic data. Collaborate on complex projects and present findings to scientific teams and the broader community. Requires Ph.D. in physical or life sciences or quantitative field, track record of academic or industrial accomplishments, strong Python and R skills, and experience with machine learning libraries and modern neural network architectures.
