As a Software Engineer - Backend, you will develop products and manage engineering infrastructure, focusing on system design, security, and code quality.

Lead the design and development of backend-heavy full stack applications using workflow orchestration, headless architectures, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native patterns. Build scalable backend services, collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams, enforce quality and security standards, participate in architecture reviews and production support, and mentor engineers while owning technical outcomes.

Build and validate AI-native tooling for utility power-engineering and go-to-market teams. The role combines customer discovery, workflow analysis, Python and SQL development, data investigation, prototypes, integrations, debugging, and production-quality software. Develop and maintain SAP S/4HANA solutions using ABAP and RAP, including CDS views, behavior definitions, OData V4 services, enhancements, and integrations. Apply Clean Core and HANA-optimized development practices, troubleshoot production issues, participate in code reviews, document technical designs, and collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders. The role focuses on WM/IM and may involve RF, warehouse automation, PPF, EWM integrations, monitoring, and Fiori extensions.

Design and implement infrastructure services for a GPU-as-a-Service platform. Build REST and gRPC APIs, bare-metal provisioning workflows, Kubernetes cluster lifecycle services, reconciliation loops, reliability mechanisms, and interfaces for hardware and cluster health. The role requires Go, Kubernetes controller patterns, bare-metal provisioning, asynchronous systems, and experience with infrastructure technologies such as Metal3, Cluster API, and Temporal.

Analyze and troubleshoot mainframe JCL batch workloads, schedules, CICS environments, and related configurations. Convert legacy batch jobs into PowerShell scripts for Azure, automate recurring cloud batch processing, optimize concurrency and performance, and maintain secure PowerShell modules.
