Responsibilities include building AI-assisted development tools, implementing guardrails and security controls, monitoring logs, investigating and responding to incidents, identifying vulnerabilities, and advising internal teams and partners. The role requires advanced AWS, infrastructure-as-code, SDLC, CI/CD, scripting, and cybersecurity expertise, with experience in regulated environments preferred. Occasional travel and on-call availability are required.

Advises technology and business leaders on identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across AI/ML initiatives, platforms, SaaS integrations, and emerging technologies. Performs complex technology risk assessments, translates technical issues into actionable recommendations, exercises independent judgment on escalation, and partners with engineering and risk teams. Own Flex’s IT and corporate security function as a hands-on senior individual contributor. Responsibilities include identity and access management, joiner-mover-leaver processes, Okta and Google Workspace administration, endpoint and MDM programs, SaaS governance, access reviews, security policies, awareness training, MSP management, and automation using scripts and internal tooling. The role partners with security, People, Finance, and Legal while maintaining corporate security posture across a distributed workforce.

Own Sophos EDR strategy, roadmap, technical product development, AI-powered experiences, and go-to-market execution. Translate customer needs, threat research, telemetry, competitive intelligence, and business goals into product priorities. Partner with engineering, security operations, threat research, marketing, sales, and customer success to deliver endpoint detection, investigation, threat hunting, response, reporting, and XDR/MDR upgrade capabilities while driving adoption, revenue, and customer outcomes.

Own and implement application security across the software development lifecycle for multiple product lines. Define security controls, validation gates, standards, and guardrails; conduct architecture reviews; enhance CI/CD security; triage SAST, SCA, and penetration-testing findings; support incident response; maintain FedRAMP and CJIS compliance; and represent security practices in audits and customer engagements.

Leads the architecture, development, operation, and lifecycle management of cloud-native security platforms and tooling. Owns Terraform and CI/CD standards, integrates security tools, troubleshoots incidents, and improves resilience. Partners with Incident Response, Threat Engineering, and GRC to translate threats and compliance needs into engineering solutions. Provides technical leadership, mentors engineers, conducts design and code reviews, and promotes secure-by-default practices across production environments.
