Creates, maintains, and audits technical documentation for Medicare claims-processing systems, including architecture diagrams, interface catalogs, data dictionaries, user guides, SOPs, runbooks, release notes, and training materials. Establishes documentation standards, manages repositories and version control, translates complex technical information for varied audiences, supports compliance reviews, and collaborates with engineering, development, architecture, and operations teams during Agile planning and releases.

Develops and maintains enterprise API documentation, including Swagger/OpenAPI specifications, developer guides, integration instructions, portal content, diagrams, and migration documentation. Ensures web and PDF materials meet Section 508 accessibility requirements, manages documentation repositories and version control, and collaborates with developers, architects, cybersecurity teams, and product staff. The role also supports API versioning, Agile documentation updates, content governance, and accurate documentation of authentication, schemas, errors, rate limits, and response structures.

Produces user manuals, how-to guides, reference materials, and other documentation for technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborates with developers, quality engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy. Reviews and updates existing content, researches complex technical topics, and creates clear, user-friendly documentation. The role is fully remote and requires an IT-II clearance or previous T3 background investigation.
