The role focuses on managing network projects from planning through delivery. The ideal candidate understands enterprise network environments and can drive execution across cross-functional teams while keeping timelines, scope, and budgets on track.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of network initiatives, including upgrades, new site setups, SD-WAN deployments, voice projects, and migration activities.
Build project plans, define milestones, manage risks, and track progress against goals.
Partner with Network Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, and Vendors to coordinate work and remove blockers.
Prepare and present status reports, RAID logs, and executive updates.
Manage vendor engagements, SOWs, timelines, and escalations.
Ensure all changes follow compliance requirements and change management processes.
Oversee testing, cutovers, and post-implementation validation.
Facilitate project meetings and maintain clear documentation for decisions and actions.
Monitor resource allocation across teams and align deliverables with priorities.
Coordinate dependencies with voice, cloud, and ServiceNow teams when projects span multiple platforms.
Required Skills and Experience
5 to 8 years of experience managing infrastructure or network projects.
Strong understanding of network technologies including routing, switching, firewalls, SD-WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and voice.
Proven track record delivering multi-site or global network rollouts.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Experience working with vendors and managed service providers.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
Experience with Zscaler, SolarWinds, Webex, MS Teams, or service monitoring tools.
Exposure to cloud networking on Azure or AWS.
CCNA and CCNP certification.
