This role will support both Zen Media and Optimum7, two high-growth brands serving ambitious B2B companies.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Sales Manager (player-coach) to lead and execute our U.S. sales initiatives. This is not a purely supervisory role; you will personally run discovery calls, demos, proposals, negotiations, and pipeline management while optimizing the sales infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-On Sales Execution:
    • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closed-won.
    • Conduct discovery calls, demos, and strategy conversations directly with prospective clients.
    • Build customized proposals and negotiate contracts.
  • Sales Strategy & Optimization:
    • Develop and implement scalable, data-driven sales strategies for both brands.
    • Refine messaging, outreach cadences, and conversion workflows.
    • Optimize pipeline management and maintain CRM accuracy and forecasting.
  • Outbound Prospecting & Pipeline Growth:
    • Build outbound sourcing strategies when inbound volume is low.
    • Identify high-fit prospects, segment markets, and drive new client acquisition.
    • Ensure a healthy top-of-funnel with consistent activity and targeted outreach.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with Marketing to align campaigns, messaging, and lead flow.
    • Partner with Account Management to ensure seamless handoffs and strong client retention.
    • Collaborate directly with the CEO on revenue, strategy, positioning, and process improvements.
  • Future Leadership
    • As the department grows, participate in hiring, mentoring, and training additional sales reps.
  • Reporting
    • Present performance insights, KPI tracking, forecasting, and strategic recommendations to leadership on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of total experience. At least 3 years in SaaS/tech sales + 2 years in leadership or sales management
  • Proven ability to exceed revenue targets and run a repeatable sales process.
  • Strong outbound prospecting expertise and able to generate a pipeline independently.
  • Deep understanding of CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), sales metrics, and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • High ownership mindset: self-motivated, data-driven, and performance-oriented.
  • Comfortable working across two brands and managing multiple pipelines simultaneously.
  • Adaptable, solution-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Location:

  • Florida is strongly preferred to ensure close collaboration with leadership.
  • Candidates in the EST time zone will also be considered.
