ZALORA - Data Engineering Manager

ZALORA Group is looking for a Data Engineering Manager to join its Data Science Team. As a Data Engineering Manager, you will lead a small team of two Data Engineers to design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient data pipeline and systems that support the Finance and Commercial departments. 

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of two Data Engineers, providing technical guidance and career development support.
• Manage workload allocation, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of team objective

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to support Finance and Commercial data requirements.
• Ensure pipelines are reliable, efficient, and optimized for performance.
• Provide architectural oversight and ensure best practices in data engineering are applied.

• Establish processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Implement monitoring, testing, and alerting mechanisms for data pipelines.

• Work closely with Finance and Commercial stakeholders to define and align on data definitions, standards, and governance practices.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions that align with long-term data strategy.
