Role & responsibilities
Brave Bison are looking for a Short-form Video Specialist Editor to work on a new key entertainment client. Day-to-day responsibilities include video editing, video and graphic design, social platform uploads and other general support to the Content Team.
All applicants should be able to show demonstrable experience in creating short-form video content tailored for vertical video social platforms. Experience with editing culture, lifestyle and social news content preferred, with a specific focus on Snapchat, TikTok and YouTube Shorts production experience.
- Producing engaging video content for Brave Bison Snapchat and Facebook accounts and other social platforms
- Growing Brave Bison Snapchat shows and increasing viewer retention with social editing skills
- Assisting the content team with weekly performance analysis on Brave Bison Snapchat shows
- Copywriting and proofreading, understanding the importance of editorial voice and brand tone
- Assisting with content ideation, UGC content sourcing and research with the Brave Bison team
- Designing thumbnails, optimising videos and uploading to a schedule agreed with the manager.
Qualification & skills requirements
- Experience editing vertical video social content with examples of previous work
- Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube Shorts or relevant publishing experience
- Proficient in Adobe Suite or relevant social video editing platforms
- Deep awareness of online culture, lifestyle and social trends
- Up-to-date with daily news trends
