POSITION / TITLE: SOFTWARE ENGINEER/SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Candidate is expected to be hands-on in web services, server-side experience.
You will be analyzing business requirements, interacting with different business teams, and will be a part of the solution design process. You will be working on Node.js and NOSQL, etc. Will be a part of the core development team and will be responsible for developing server APIs/components. You will be a part of scaling applications and database infrastructure processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Will work in high traffic / real-time Enterprise apps
• Will be a part of Agile Methodologies, Design Patterns, and Software Revision Control Systems
• Will gain experience in scaling applications and database infrastructure
• Will work in a very innovative and creative environment
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Minimum 2-5 plus years of solid development experience, and should have worked on open source
Platforms
MUST HAVE SKILLS
• Skillset should have few of the following Node.js, jQuery, Backbone, Underscore, Redis / CouchDB /
MongoDB, Web Sockets
• Knowledge on Linux / Unix flavours
• Candidate must have hands-on experience in server-side programming, independent of technology
• Strong knowledge of code documentation and handover
OTHER SKILLS WE'D APPRECIATE
• Experience withthe git version control system
• Experience in open source contribution
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
• Graduate in Engineering OR Master's in Computer Application
