JPMorganChase is seeking a senior product lead to own the vision, strategy, and delivery of cap table product offering that supports end-to-end equity ownership management across private companies and funds. You will lead a cross-functional team to build scalable capabilities spanning cap table modeling, issuer and investor views, corporate actions, reporting, and integrations with downstream operating, risk, and client workflows.
Key responsibilities
- Define and drive product vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap for J.P. Morgan’s cap table offering and related services/products for private companies.
- Own the cap table domain model (securities, stakeholders, waterfalls, vesting, option plans, SAFE/convertible instruments, corporate actions) and ensure data quality, lineage, and auditability.
- Develop solutions for private companies and other offerings to bring the breadth of JP Morgan to companies and their employees
- Partner with engineering and architecture to deliver a secure, resilient, API-first product with strong entitlements and workflow controls.
- Lead discovery with clients and internal users (private markets teams, operations, legal, tax, finance, risk, controls) to translate needs into prioritized features and measurable outcomes.
- Establish product KPIs (time-to-close corporate actions, reconciliation breaks, data timeliness/accuracy, onboarding cycle time, client satisfaction) and manage a continuous improvement backlog.
- Drive integration strategy across ecosystem tooling (KYC/client onboarding, document management, valuations, fund accounting/administration, reporting, CRM, analytics) and external service providers where applicable.
- Ensure strong governance: requirements documentation, controls-by-design, operational readiness, change management, and regulatory/compliance alignment.
- Own delivery rituals: OKRs, backlog management, release planning, UAT coordination, training, and adoption.
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- 8+ years of product management experience (or equivalent) delivering enterprise platforms, data products, and workflow tools.
- Demonstrated ownership of complex financial domain products with high data integrity, audit, and controls requirements.
- Strong understanding of private markets and equity ownership concepts (cap tables, preferred/common, options/RSUs, convertible instruments, liquidity events, corporate actions).
- Experience leading cross-functional teams (engineering, design, operations, legal/compliance, data/analytics) with crisp communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to translate ambiguous problems into structured roadmaps, user stories, and execution plans.
- Strong analytical skills; comfort with KPIs, experimentation, and operational process measurement.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- Experience with cap table platforms, private company equity administration, private fund workflows, or investor servicing.
- Familiarity with data modeling, entitlements/permissions, audit logging, and control frameworks in regulated environments.
- Experience with integration patterns (APIs, eventing, file-based interfaces), vendor partnerships, and platform migration.
- Prior experience delivering products across multiple regions and legal entities.
