Job Description

J.P. Morgan Workplace Solutions is seeking an experienced Digital Experience Lead to lead the strategy, development and ongoing evolution of our web presence.

This individual will lead the team responsible for delivering high-quality digital experiences across the J.P. Morgan Workplace Solutions web ecosystem, which is currently built on enterprise WordPress. The team brings together web development, user experience, content, technology and analytics. The role will balance day-to-day ownership of our web platforms with a mandate to keep strengthening our capabilities, modernize how we work and build the web experience the business needs to grow. That includes preparing the platform for its future evolution, such as a potential move to an enterprise CMS or digital experience platform (DXP).

The successful candidate will be a strong people leader with deep web and platform expertise, capable of setting a clear vision while staying close to execution. You will partner across Marketing, Product, Technology, Design and other functions to translate business priorities and user needs into intuitive, effective and measurable digital experiences.

Job Responsibilities:

Platform & Technical Delivery

  • Own the day-to-day health and technical delivery of the enterprise WordPress platform and broader web ecosystem — including theme/plugin governance, performance, release/patch management, security posture, and partnering with technology teams to build scalable, reliable digital experiences.
  • Lead integration of the CMS with downstream systems and martech (CRM, marketing automation, analytics, tagging) to ensure reliable data and experience flow across the ecosystem.
  • Deliver and evolve authenticated and gated experiences (SSO, entitlement-based access) in partnership with Technology and Security.
  • Assess platform needs and readiness for replatforming, and be prepared to lead or serve as functional lead for a CMS migration (content, IA, SEO/redirects, analytics/tagging continuity).

Strategy, Leadership & Operating Model

  • Lead the web strategy, roadmap, and day-to-day operations of the J.P. Morgan Workplace Solutions web ecosystem, and drive its continued evolution so technology, capabilities, and operating model scale with business needs.
  • Manage and develop a multidisciplinary web team, setting priorities, accountabilities, and standards while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Establish effective governance, prioritization, and delivery processes for web development, publishing, QA, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Manage agency, vendor, and technology partner relationships as appropriate.

Design, UX & Standards

  • Champion UI/UX and user-centered design, ensuring web experiences are intuitive, consistent, accessible, and built around audience needs.
  • Establish and evolve design systems, web standards, and reusable components to improve quality, consistency, and speed to market.

Analytics, Optimization & Best Practices

  • Own web analytics, measurement, and optimization — building a repeatable operating model and driving best practices across SEO, accessibility, performance, IA, and conversion optimization.
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI, automation, personalization, and emerging technologies to improve digital experiences and operations.

Stakeholder & Governance

  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Content, and other stakeholders to translate business strategy into compelling digital experiences.
  • Define success measures and communicate web performance, priorities, and opportunities to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure web experiences adhere to applicable brand, accessibility, privacy, security, and control requirements.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Extensive experience in web, digital experience, or digital product disciplines, including leading complex web platforms and multidisciplinary teams, and leading or serving as functional lead for a CMS replatform/migration (content, IA, SEO/redirects, analytics and tagging).
  • Hands-on experience running an enterprise WordPress environment day to day, including theme/plugin governance, performance management, release/patch management, and security posture.
  • Experience delivering authenticated and gated web experiences (e.g., SSO, entitlements) and integrating a CMS with downstream systems and marketing technology.
  • Strong understanding of modern web development, CMS platforms and web technologies, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Deep knowledge of UI/UX, responsive design, information architecture, accessibility and user-centered design principles.
  • Experience leading complex web initiatives end-to-end — from strategy and requirements through design, development, launch and optimization — with the ability to develop a strategic roadmap while managing day-to-day priorities and delivery.
  • A strong point of view on the web as a strategic delivery channel, with deep expertise in accessibility, SEO, site performance, and measurement/optimization operating models, including strong understanding of web analytics and using data/insights to drive improvements.
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing digital or multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build alignment across complex business, marketing, product, creative and technology stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including articulating digital strategy, priorities and outcomes to senior audiences.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, complex environment and drive change while maintaining a high standard of execution.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Experience within financial services, fintech, B2B technology or another complex or regulated industry.
  • Experience with enterprise CMS or digital experience platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager), including evaluating, implementing or migrating to them.
  • Knowledge of personalization, customer data platforms and advanced digital analytics.
  • Experience with design systems and component-based web development.
  • Understanding of emerging applications of AI and automation across web development, content management and digital experiences.
  • Experience managing external agencies, development partners or technology vendors.
