Responsibilities
- Provide regulated bespoke pension advice to group pension members new and existing.
- Provide group pension transfer advice when needed.
- Provide specialist/professional advice and recommendations to new and existing members to support informed decision making.
- Undertake site visits as and when needed.
- Follow up on potential leads for member advice from corporate consultants.
- Create effective presentations to group pensions members, to be delivered onsite or remotely
- Keep CPD, IO and Compliance up to date.
- Contribute to team target where possible.
- Develop and maintain effective and proactive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support training/meetings at client or external premises. Representing Titan professionally at events.
- Actively support and engage with business projects as required to meet client needs and business objectives.
- Manage own time effectively to achieve objectives and key milestones agreed, together with planning and completing personal development activity.
- Maintain and develop own technical and regulatory knowledge.
- Take opportunities, both reactive and proactive to assist with the development additional services and support for members.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as and when required, bearing in mind TCF and the needs of the business at all times.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of all types of pensions arrangements
- To highlight to your line manager procedures & processes that do not adhere to the principles of TCF/RCR and to put forward suggestions that improve the TCF/RCR practices within the department.
- Written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners/ professionals.
- Ability to understand, meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to liaise with colleagues, clients and IFAs in an articulate and pleasant manner.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage own workload.
- Problem solving skills with the ability to exercise high levels of initiative to devise and implement workable solutions.
- Ability to plan, manage and maximise use of own time and effectiveness
- Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
- Good technical knowledge
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel and Databases
