As our Workplace Experience Lead, you will manage our Berkeley-based facilities in-person, and you will provide facilities support for our other locations. You will be responsible for the management and maintenance of our offices on a day-to-day basis. In addition, the role will include project-based work, such as vendor management, construction or move management, and more.
Responsibilities
- Oversee office facilities, including conducting regular facilities maintenance and safety inspections
- Manage vendor relationships, and provide direction to vendors
- Lead facilities-related projects, including office improvements
- Oversee day-to-day office dining services, working closely with our catering and snack vendors; maintain our pantry and manage the ordering process for all office snacks and refreshments
- Work closely with the Manager, HR and Workplace Experience, to provide an exceptional on-boarding experience for new hires; support new hires as they continue to get acquainted with our office environment.
- Coordinate and plan office events both onsite and offsite (e.g. all hands meetings, annual picnic and holiday party, happy hours and other events), working closely with People Operations, Corporate IT, and Executive Support
- Assist with various administrative tasks, including lease administration, invoice validation, and floor and seating plan management
- Ensure the safety and security of the facility, including managing security systems and vendors, maintaining emergency response plans, and ensuring compliance with all local regulatory requirements
- Contribute to oversight of operating budgets
Requirements
- 5+ years in facilities, property management or building operations
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with strong attention to detail and a proven ability to take ownership of multiple projects and manage competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including an ability to quickly establish relationships with vendors and staff
- Ability to travel between offices (i.e., Berkeley and New York) as needed
- A penchant for hosting board game, karaoke, or trivia nights is a plus
The base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000 in the location(s) of this posting. Individual salaries are determined through a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. Base salary does not include other forms of total compensation such as bonus compensation and other benefits. Our benefits package includes medical, dental and vision coverage, life and AD&D insurance, 20 days of paid time off, 9 sick days, and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
