SeatGeek is looking for an upbeat Workplace Experience Coordinator & Receptionist to provide support and energy to our NYC Office. We are looking for someone with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for finding opportunities for improvement in everything you do. This role is for you if you are excited by the prospect of being the face of the company as the first point of contact for visitors and employees. You’ll report to our Regional Manager, Workplace Experience.

*This full-time, hourly role is in office 5 days a week. Hours are 8am - 4pm EST with 30 min paid lunch - with some one-off situations where extra time is needed - eligible for overtime pay.

What you'll do

  • Run the front desk & guest operations. Greet guests, clients, and interviewees to make them feel at home
  • Ensure cleanliness and professionalism of reception and lobby area, and continually look for ways to improve our front-of-house procedures
  • Serve as a point of contact for visiting remote employees and event guests
  • Monitor and manage inventory of kitchen and office supplies
  • Receive and notify employees of incoming mail and packages and assist with outgoing shipments
  • Set up and break down in-office events & internal meetings, ensuring smooth execution and space turnaround
  • Provide virtual support for company programs and assist with office and event requests
  • Manage and sort Help Center tickets in Jira, prioritizing and responding to requests efficiently
  • Handle ad-hoc projects and responsibilities as needed

What you have

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • You are ambitious, bright, and intellectually curious. You love teaching yourself new things, and you’re naturally driven to be the best at what you do
  • A “no task too big or too small mindset”
  • You are friendly, positive and professional. You take pride in cultivating a fun and inviting office atmosphere and your willingness to engage with guests to make them feel welcome
  • Google Workspace skills and a familiarity or willingness to learn other project management systems
  • You are extremely organized and detail-oriented. For you, an unfiltered inbox is a nightmare!
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with a particular emphasis on brevity and clarity (and when the moment calls for it, finding that perfect gif)
  • An interest in hospitality, HR, communications and/or customer service

Perks

  • Equity stake
  • Flexible work environment, allowing you to work as many days a week in the office as you’d like or 100% remotely
  • A WFH stipend to support your home office setup
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Up to 16 weeks of fully-paid family leave
  • 401(k) matching program
  • Student loan support resources
  • Health, vision, dental, and life insurance
  • Up to $25k towards family building and reproductive health services
  • Gender-affirming care support program
  • $500 per year for wellness expenses
  • Subscriptions to Headspace (meditation), Headspace Care (therapy), and One Medical
  • $120 per month to spend on tickets to live events
  • Annual subscription to Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon music
