- Design of electromechanical parts and assemblies (CREO) as well as involvement in simulation tasks (ANSYS)
- Improvements of mechanical team processes and its direct interfaces (industrialization, electronics, systems). Implementation in JIRA and PDM system - together with team manager and tech lead
- Support and execution of engineering tests in coordination with the mechanical team
- Carry out measurements and tests for concept validation
- Evaluate and document test results
- Support the mechanical team with building prototypes and test samples
What you bring with you
- Bachelor or Master student in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, applied physics or similar
- Interest in designing and simulating mechanical parts for HV-components
- Basic understanding of CAD modelling (nice-to-have knowledge of CREO)
- Basic understanding of thermal and mechanical simulations (nice-to-have knowledge of ANSYS
- Hands on mentality, willingness to build and execute tests and experiments related to the project in our lab
- Willing to take responsibility of a project
- Creativity and enthusiasm for innovative solutions for electric vehicles or energy storage systems
- Ability to work in a team & strong communication skills in English (German is a plus)
