Your Role
As an IT Support System Admin Working Student, you will be supporting the IT Team and be part of a globally distributed diverse team at the crossroads of technology.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing 1st level support such as responding to user requests, troubleshoot problems etc.
- Supporting in all PC hardware components, desktop operating system software (Windows, MacxOS) and application software
- Monitoring backup systems and procedures to ensure data security
- Recording activities, solutions and other responses to request for service
- Contributing to technical documentation and participate in policy, procedure and standard development
- Assisting users in determining appropriate software solutions to meet needs
- Supporting and developing different duties/projects as assigned by
Your Profile
To succeed in this role you:
- Are service oriented and get a kick out of helping other people out
- Hold a technical background such as studying computer science or a related field
- Have gathered some preliminary knowledge of computer maintenance (e.g MacOS, Windows, Linux)
- Thrive in a well-structured and organized working mode
- Maintain open communication and positive working relationships with staff.
- Possess a service oriented mindset and outstanding communication skills in English, German is a plus
