What you'll do

• Support of the eLearning and anti-phishing training / campaign
  • Delivery of security on-boarding training
  • Check of reported user emails on Spam/Malware and basic research and investigations
  • Internal communication around awareness (e.g. internal blog posts)
  • Regular configuration and activation of simulated phishing campaigns
• Incident detection and response
  • Detect, respond to and remediate active attacks on enterprise assets (SIEM, endpoint security)
  • Troubleshooting and assistance with endpoint security agent issues
  • Automate and improve security controls and processes
• Assist with configuration and management of security tools
  • Over see password manager users and requests
  • Configuration, troubleshooting and updates on endpoint security platform
  • Configuration, troubleshooting and updates on eLearning platform
  • Maintenance and updates on SOAR automation platform
• Assist the Security team on the maintenance and development of the ISMS
  • Perform asset inventory and risk assessment activities
  • Create and maintain policies & best practices
  • Provide support on security compliance requests

What you bring to the table

• Experience in a computer science-related field, ideally with a security focus 
• Passion for security topics and an eye for detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a team (remotely) and an interest in interdisciplinary work
• Enrolled at a German university, with at least 3 more semesters still to go  
• Fluent in verbal and written English

It’s awesome if you have

• Knowledge of ISMS concepts, ISO 27k standards 
• Enrollment as a student (m/f/d) for Information Security
