Job DescriptionWhat we are looking for:
We are looking for an organised team player to join our Compliance team in Frankfurt. The successful individual will ideally join us for 12 months, and will need to be enrolled in full-time education for the duration of this Working Student role.
Responsibilities will include:
Supporting with the handling of New Joiner Process.
Assisting with the organisation of compliance trainings, including organising the review and updates of the IAMD Compliance training slide deck.
Supporting the regulatory change process
Assisting with Compliance monitoring exercises, as and when required.
Supporting the IAMD Compliance function in any administrative work, including the preparation for the planned office move in 2025.
What you can bring:
Currently enrolled at university studying Economics, Law or another comparable study programme.
Knowledge of UCITS and AIFs and the applicable regulations would be an advantage, but not essential.
Fluent in spoken and written English & German language.
A basic knowledge of the regulatory environment of a BaFin regulated investment firm (e.g. MiFID II, WpHG, Regulation around ESG, AML/FATF, Fraud Prevention) would be an advantage, but not essential.
Exceptional organisation skills.
A basic understanding of the role of the Compliance function in a regulated investment firm.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
