Role Overview:

We’re looking for a highly organised and analytical Workforce Scheduler to join our growing team! In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for developing, managing, and optimising staff rotas to ensure we meet business objectives and deliver outstanding service. You’ll be the go-to expert for turning data into action, balancing staffing needs with operational demands, and ensuring we always have the right people in the right place—at the right time.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems with data, and is passionate about building efficient and people-centred scheduling systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage employee schedules in alignment with service level agreements (SLAs) and operational needs
  • Analyse historical data to forecast staffing requirements and adjust schedules proactively
  • Liaise with department managers and team leads to address rota gaps or conflicts
  • Use workforce management (WFM) software (e.g., Kronos, NICE IEX, Verint) to generate reports and build rotas
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, union agreements, and internal policies
  • Monitor key workforce metrics, including schedule adherence, absenteeism, and shift coverage
  • Manage holiday requests, shift swaps, and time-off planning
  • Support HR and Operations with onboarding new starters and integrating them into the schedule
  • Recommend improvements to enhance rota efficiency and employee satisfaction
  • Review and approve vacation requests, ensuring adequate coverage and alignment with staffing requirements

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years’ experience in workforce management, scheduling, or a related role
  • Proficiency with WFM tools such as Kronos, NICE IEX, Verint, or similar platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
  • Good understanding of labour regulations and compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with Google Sheets and Monday.com is a plus

Why Join Us?

  • Play a key role in a high-impact, fast-paced team
  • Collaborate across departments to improve scheduling strategies
  • Opportunities for growth, innovation, and influence
  • Competitive salary, benefits, and flexible working environment
