Workers Compensation Case Manager

Job Description:

Join the DXC team and contribute to bringing DXC’s claims management expertise to icare and the people of New South Wales.
DXC are currently partnering with a reputable Government Health Organsiation, setting up their Wokers' Compensation Department and would love you to join the team as a Case Manager.

The Case Manager will assist and support injured worker’s return to work through the delivery of person-centred case management to ensure entitlements to compensation are made appropriately. Dealing with internal and external stakeholders is paramount to solid and sustainable outcomes.

To be successful

• Experience as a Case Manager with the NSW Workers Compensation Scheme, ideally in Return to Work or Long-Term Case Management 
• Excellent communication and organisational skills. 
• Outstanding customer service skills. 
• Decision making, negotiation and influencing skills 
• Ability to work in a team environment. 
• Ability to work with different IT applications.
• Experience assessing and determining liability on claims. 
• Preparing for, attending and performing at claims reviews highlighting your excellent claims strategies, results and 
  communicating further with your stakeholders. 
• Assist workers in returning to work and manage chronic ill health through person-centred case management. 
• Ensure entitlements to compensation are made appropriately and timely
