Job description:
Understand business requirements, configure the Workday solution, demonstrate the configurations through the building of prototype configuration, and assist the client in testing the Workday solution. Schedule integrations and monitor to ensure they run when scheduled. Collaborate with cross-functional counterparts to ensure clear lines of communication and project alignment. Direct efforts to improve and implement system integrations between Workday and internal applications. Test new system features and feature releases and evaluate the impact on integrations and reports. Prepare application administration documents, end-user documentation, and/or application training to end-users. Utilize change management process to ensure modifications or upgrades are authorized, tested when applicable, approved, and implemented appropriately. Work closely with colleagues in the HRIS team to support testing internal changes and Workday releases. Provide the highest level of customer support via internal ticketing system and all other standard forms of communication and interaction
Qualification and Skills:
7 + years relevant experience with building Workday Integrations including Studio. Experience in integrating Workday with payroll, benefit and background verification vendors. 7+ years relevant experience with integration technologies such as Web Services, XML, XSLT, SOAP and Java Relevant experience with HR systems and solutions such as Workday HCM, PeopleSoft HRMS or SAP HCM Relevant experience with requirements documentation, including ability to provide feedback on design of processes Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is crucial as the specialist or consultant will need to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, from project team members to senior management, to ensure the project's success. Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, focused on Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Workday certification in Integrations preferred.
