Workday Advanced compesation functional Senior consultant "Job Title: workday Adv. Comp Functional Lead
Job responsibilities:
A Workday Functional lead serves as a leader on the project team, able to independently create deliverables and complete a majority of assigned or self-identified tasks. An individual in this role may lead other members of the project team.
Responsibilities Include
Typically, a minimum of 8+ years’ experience in Workday Functional HCM along with Adv. Compensation and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree; Advanced Degree and minimum 7+ years related work experience and bachelor’s degree
Independently creates client deliverables for large, complex projects and/or clients; evaluates effort and requests support as needed
Leads work streams and/or small teams or projects as appropriate; reviews deliverables and contributes key content
Manages own time, availability, progress against project plan, and billable hour expectations; communicates risks and/or availability to project leader(s) and people manager
Formally or informally manages client-side relationships (e.g. internal partners, vendors, employees and/or customers)
Leverages current Avaap methodology, best practices, and tools to deliver client solutions; identifies opportunities for improvement and recommends enhancements
Contributes to internal initiatives that help make Hitachi a market-leading and best place to work
Completes other related responsibilities as assigned based on client or business needs
Desired Experiences and Skills
Experience on implementations specific to Workday Advanced Compensation (either through consulting or client-side experience) required
Workday Certification in HCM, Core Compensation & Advanced Compensation preferred If not already certified, certification in HCM, Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation will be required
Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
Experience deploying multiple HCM projects simultaneously a plus
Superior personal initiative
Ability to work with no supervision and direct the actions of others
Expert presentation skills
Superior knowledge of MS Excel
Ability to insert into any project as a recognized leader by both client and coworkers
Acumen for technology, abstract thinking
Experience with compensation program Competitive Offers, In-Band Adjustments, Market Data, Overtime (FLSA), Pay Strategy Pay Structure, Role Changes
Ability to thrive in client facing situations with all management levels
A highly committed individual with a background in problem solving, operations environment
Passion for working with people and systems, and a strong interest in helping customers succeed
A team player mentality is a must
Discipline, integrity, attention to detail and problem-solving skills are a prerequisite to be successful in this role
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to summarize the work done in an articulate fashion via email or case notes
Experience with Workday Recruiting, Compensation, or Talent is a plus

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively
Must be able to perform work indoors and remain stationary at a computer
