Purpose of Position: The Library Intern will be responsible for providing assistance and support to the Library.
Job Responsibilities:
The position is for four (4) hours per day, five (5) days per week, for a total of twenty (20) hours per week. Must be able to work between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The Library Intern will work closely with the Library Coordinator to provide support and will work on special projects. The individual will play a key role in assisting with day-to-day activities in the library. This position will work toward meeting the College's mission statement and purpose. The position requires good attendance, the ability to work independently or as a team player, the ability to take direction, and the ability to think critically.

• Maintain CONFIDENTIALITY of the department. All records, especially student records, are
to be held in strict confidence according to LPTC’s Privacy Policy and the Family Educational

Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Student must be enrolled at Little Priest Tribal College
• Student must maintain a 2.5 cumulative grade point average
• Student must be eligible for the Federal Work-Study or Project Success Internship program

• This is a 100% on-site position.
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background screen.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable under our insurance.

What We Do
Little Priest Tribal College is a public tribal land-grant community college in Winnebago, Nebraska. Its primary focus is providing two-year associate degrees and certifications to prepare students for transfer to four-year institutions. Additionally, the college provides language and culture classes and job skills training to improve employability, honoring the mission of Chief Little Priest: 'Be Strong and Educate My Children'.
