Halo Media is seeking a WordPress/HubSpot Developer to join our growing team and drive impactful strategies across various projects. This fully remote position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about leveraging data and analysis to inform business decisions.
We are seeking a highly skilled candidates who will be responsible for below responsibilities
Content Migration
- Transfer all text, images, and other relevant media from the existing WordPress site to HubSpot.
- Ensure that the content is properly formatted to fit within the predefined HubSpot page modules.
- Maintain SEO best practices during migration, including proper heading structures, meta descriptions, and alt text for images.
- URL Slug Updates
- Ensure that the URL slugs of the migrated pages align with the original WordPress pages.
- Modify URL structures as needed to maintain consistency and optimize for SEO.
- Quality Assurance (QA) and Content Validation
- Conduct a thorough comparison of the migrated pages against the original WordPress pages to confirm all content has been properly transferred.
- Verify that all images, links, and formatting elements are displayed correctly.
- Test navigation, internal linking, and responsiveness across different devices and screen sizes.
- Ensure that all pages load correctly and match the intended layout/design.
- Content Adjustments and Refinements
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies between the original content and the migrated pages.
- Adjust formatting where necessary to align with the new theme’s structure while maintaining consistency.
- Experience with WordPress and HubSpot CMS platforms.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure content accuracy and consistency.
- Understanding of SEO best practices, including URL structures, metadata, and image optimization.
- Ability to conduct thorough QA and identify any inconsistencies in formatting, missing elements, or functionality issues.
- Familiarity with HubSpot’s page builder and module-based layouts.
- Capable of making small changes within Hubspot when it calls for possibly a new module that would speed up the migration process
