THE WORK:

• Being responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Server environments to ensure high availability and performance of enterprise systems.

• Managing and engineering Windows based environment combining hands-on administration with system design and automation.

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO).

• Designing and implementing system upgrades, high-availability solutions, and automation (e.g., PowerShell, DSC).

• Monitoring system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.

• Ensuring compliance with security policies and apply regular patches and updates.

• Collaboration on infrastructure projects, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.

Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely (most of the time), onsite at a client or in an Accenture office - depending on specific project circumstances.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Experience in installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Server environments (minimum 3-4 years).

• Ability to manage and engineer Windows-based environments.

• Proficiency in deploying, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server environments, including Active Directory (AD), Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), and Group Policy Objects (GPO).

• Capability to design and implement system upgrades, high-availability solutions, and automation using tools such as PowerShell and Desired State Configuration (DSC).

• Knowledge of security policies and the ability to ensure compliance.

• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of Microsoft System Center Family (SCCM/MECM, SCOM).

• Experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 and Microsoft Certification.

• Experience in automating tasks through scripting technologies.
