We are looking for a passionate Senior Accountant to join our Finance/Accounting team and help us shape the next 100 years of Mariani!
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
As a Senior Accountant, you will serve as a subject matter expert for the Company’s lease accounting, fixed asset accounting and management, and Coast to Coast accounting activities.
- Analyze: Prepare and review complex journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and financial results.
- Manage: Fixed asset accounting, lease accounting under ASC 842, month-end/quarter-end/year-end close activities, and financial reporting for Coast-to-Coast Farming.
- Lead: Coordinate internal and external audit activities, maintain effective internal controls, and ensure accounting processes comply with established requirements.
- Innovate: Identify and implement process improvements that enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of accounting and financial reporting, while supporting and optimizing NetSuite functionality.
What You Bring to the Table (Requirements)

- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proven ability to lead process improvements, implement best practices, and build cross-functional partnerships

- Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and ERP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
