Job Description
The Commercial & Investment Bank Finance & Business Management (F&BM) team is seeking a strategic, analytical, and energetic professional to support the Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) organization. This high-impact leadership role ensures senior management across the Commercial & Investment Bank has visibility into major initiatives, business metrics, financials, and data insights to achieve strategic objectives.
Join our F&BM team as a Business Manager VP, where you'll partner with senior Operations leaders and key partners across Product, Finance, Business Management, and Data & Analytics teams. Drive effective end-to-end execution and enable decision-making through data-driven insights and strategic analysis.
As a Business Manager VP within the WLS organization, you will be responsible for developing product investment business cases, conducting portfolio analyses, and collaborating with LOB partners to enhance pipeline management. Your role will encompass providing both quantitative and qualitative analysis, spearheading data-promoted analyses, and simplifying complex problems into manageable frameworks.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Partner with WLS leaders and F&BM colleagues to develop product investment business cases and KPIs.
  • Utilize large datasets to conduct portfolio analyses and drive investment opportunities.
  • Engage LOB partners to improve pipeline management and react to market changes.
  • Provide analysis to enable leaders to make optimization decisions.
  • Lead data-driven analyses to provide transparency and enable decision-making.
  • Structure complex problems into simple frameworks.
  • Analyze data to guide and develop business strategy.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
  • 7 years of experience in Business Management, Product Investment Management, Operations, or Consulting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related area.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate initiatives effectively.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong partnerships with employees.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail with a logical thought process.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills required.
  • Proficiency in structuring and scoping complex problems and applying analytical tools.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
  • MBA.
  • Interest or experience in the Data/AI space, with knowledge of industry trends.
  • Ability to apply data analysis to solve complex business problems.
  • Strategic and innovative mindset with a willingness to challenge the status quo.
