Job Responsibilities:
SPECIFICATIONS AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:• 3 - 5 years' experience operating White Light Scanner• Experience FARO and Romer Arm / Tracker machine (would be beneficial)• Experience operating/programming CMM (would be beneficial)• Experience or Trained with Coreview, Hexagon and Polyworks• Experience in CMM inspection, managing a gauge calibration system and AutoCAD• Experience in conducting capability studies, R&R studies and part layouts• Must be able to read blueprints, interpreting GD&T, utilizing DOS, Windows and Microsoft Office• Experience with PC-DMIS software• Able to work with close tolerances• Ability to work as a team member and individually• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with accuracy• Good communication and organizational skills• Good mathematical skills
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Use White Light Scanner equipment to measure equipment, parts and fixtures• Ability to generate programs online and offline and update the CMM program to the latest revision level• Mark up the measurement data• Produce and present measurement reports/results• Attending and participating in PCF checking fixture design reviews• Correlation studies between different measuring fixtures• Tooling certification/validation. Adjusting tooling during certification activities• Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process and quality system• Interpret blueprints• Consult your Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor if you are not 100% sure of how to perform tasks in a safe manner• Follow all safety rules, standards and procedures at all times in all areas• Know what types of Personal Protective Equipment are required for the jobs in your area and always use them properly• Ensure that your work area is kept clean, tidy and organized at all times to prevent accidents and produce good quality products• Report all unusual circumstances and actively participate in and support Continuous Improvements• Follow all ISO Standard Operating Procedures to ensure world class quality products are supplied to our customers• Perform other related duties as required
