West Monroe is seeking interns for our Life Sciences Practice. Our Life Sciences teams partner with pharma, biotech and medical device companies to develop innovative digital solutions as they navigate through industry challenges, including regulatory changes, rise of personalized medicine, emerging technologies and expanding patient care involvement.

As a Life Sciences Intern, you will be part of a team that helps life sciences companies transform business operations by defining best practices through analyzing global trends, local market conditions, and industry-specific business requirements.  From there, you will work side-by-side with West Monroe colleagues and client teams to drive solutions and accelerate value through technology.

Your Role as a Life Sciences Intern

  • Contribute to the development of client presentations and reports, gaining exposure working with multi-disciplinary teams across technology, operational and industry experts

  • Conduct market research on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to support project deliverables and client recommendations

  • Support project management activities, including tracking milestones and deliverables, coordinating with team members, and maintaining project documentation

  • Contribute to strategic practice initiatives, such as assisting in the preparation of case studies, white papers, thought leadership content, and supporting business development activities

  • Participate in client meetings and workshops to understand client needs and challenges

  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop solutions, which may include creating digital strategies and roadmaps by:

    • Assessing current state business and application architectures 

    • Aligning IT strategy with key business objectives 

    • Delivering future state roadmap with IT and business architecture solutions

Essential Qualifications

  • Pursuing bachelor's degree, expected to graduate between Dec 2025 - Jul 2026

  • Intern candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without limitation or sponsorship now or in the future (e.g., OPT, H-1B visa, TN, etc.) 

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0  

  • Interns must live within 50 miles of their office throughout their internship. Our culture emphasizes team collaboration and a hybrid work model. 

  • Ability to travel Monday – Thursday (weekly) up to 50%. West Monroe covers travel expenses.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Majors with a focus in: 

    • Biology

    • Biomedical Engineering

    • Data Science

    • Molecular & Cell Biology

Based on pay transparency guidelines, the pay rate for this role is $39.00.
