WeLend - Manager/ Assistant Manager, Credit Approval

About You

What you’ll do and what success looks like in this role

• Review customer's financial status, credit bureau report and internal credit history to recommend approval decision for personal installment loan applications
• Handle credit applications according to credit policies and underwriting standards
• Manage and monitor loan portfolio to ensure credit quality and full compliance of internal policies and lending guidelines
• Perform verification to detect fraud application and prevent fraud
• Participate in projects to improve and optimize the credit operation and process 

What is required and what we’re looking for

• Higher Diploma or above
• Minimum 5 years related experience in personal loan products. With approval delegation is preferred
• Self-initiative and good team player
• Multi-tasking and ability to manage deliverables within tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
