Requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of ONE (1) year of welding experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry, but not essential.
- Certification: Valid welding certification from a recognized body (e.g., CNFP) is required.
- Skills: Proficiency in various welding techniques, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Safety Knowledge: In-depth understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to welding and the oil and gas industry.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in challenging environments, including confined spaces, heights, and extreme weather conditions. Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional technical training or certification in welding is essential.
Additional Information:
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime, as required by project demands.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites and work in remote locations as needed.
