Aspinal of London are looking to start and train new team members as Warehouse Operatives as soon as possible who are looking for Temporary Christmas positions to support us through peak during the weekends.
Most weekends the shift pattern will be 8.00am - 6.00pm but busier weekends we will run two shifts to increase the opening hours to 7.00am - 10.00pm
This role can be performed on a shift basis with a minimum of 4hrs per shift
The Distribution Centre is the pumping heart of Aspinal. The team ensures that all stores and customers receive the beautiful products on time and in great condition. We are an efficient team of hardworking individuals who enjoy the challenge of delivering results in a rapidly growing organisation.
The warehouse is a fast moving and high energy environment to work in with the main focus being on quality, accuracy and efficiency.
Key Duties
- Assisting with unloading of all deliveries
- Accurately and efficiently unpacking, counting and putting away stock
- Reporting any order discrepancies or QC issues to the line manager
- Performing all unpacking tasks within KPI’s
- Replenishing packaging as required within the warehouse
- Maintain a high level of quality control on all items
- Assist with despatch of all outbound goods
- Full clean driving license
- Maintaining clean and tidy yard area
- Assisting with rubbish disposal in and around the warehouse
- Lifting boxes and goods
- use of pump trucks
- driving of company vehicle
- Ensure that the warehouse is clear and tidy at all time
- Assist other warehouse departments as and when required
- Adhere to all Health and Safety and Security Guidelines
- Represent the Aspinal of London Brand at all times while working both in and out of the Warehouse
