About the Company:
World is a network of real humans, built on privacy-preserving proof-of-human technology, and powered by a globally inclusive financial network that enables the free flow of digital assets for all. It is built to connect, empower, and be owned by everyone.
This role is with Tools for Humanity in our San Francisco office
We are building a generational brand with World—one of the leading projects in the age of AI. We’re not just aiming to join the ranks of iconic tech companies; we’re building something the world hasn’t seen before. That’s why we’re looking for someone who not only brings deep experience but is excited to help invent a new kind of design practice—without a blueprint. Someone ready to shape what a brand like this can become. We’re looking for a Global Content Lead who can connect with users through the craft of digital and print storytelling.
You’ll bring together content strategy and creative direction with the ability to wireframe, craft compelling copy, and execute across website and print surfaces. You are a strong communicator, who will orchestrate cross-functional teams—from designers and developers to translators and legal. You’ll thrive at the intersection of taste, storytelling, and execution, turning complex ideas into digital and print experiences that feel simple, clear, and human.
What you’ll doLead strategy, design, and project management of multiple evolving, high-traffic websites across the World, World Foundation, and Tools for Humanity brands.
Act as the primary content strategist and copywriter for websites as well as print and digital materials across physical World Space locations (e.g., global signage, decals, educational pamphlets, merchandising).
Develop and execute website content, wireframes, and copywriting that deliver user-friendly, approachable, and educational experiences.
Manage designers and developers through design and build for web and print (e.g., from wireframe to mock-ups, hand off to developers, QA website).
Use your creative eye to ensure web content consistently aligns with brand and marketing strategy.
Apply strong organizational and project management skills to move ideas quickly from concept to launch, balancing multiple web and print priorities–often anticipating needs before leadership review.
Partner with internal and external teams to deliver at a high creative standard (translations, product, ops, legal, comms, agencies, vendors).
Own SEO strategy and execution, overseeing technical and on/off-page implementations with developers and third party vendors.
Have a data-driven approach to websites: crafting, measuring, and reporting on performance using Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Search Console, and other tools to optimize impact of your work and share success back internally.
Occasionally lead non-website and print digital content initiatives (e.g., mobile app copywriting and reskinning).
Work with regional marketing teams to understand local website needs and helping to drive or support local web initiatives (e.g., bespoke landing pages for new country launch).
Be a self-starter, ready to do whatever it takes to deliver projects on time and at a high creative standard; we are a small team and enjoy flexing our skillsets to help each other.
Finding solutions and options for getting ideas made–from finding the right partner, to figuring out the best internal process to get things done fast (e.g., sourcing a photographer for new website imagery and attending photoshoot).
Travel up to 5% globally to understand local operations, users, and on-the-ground needs.
Be based in San Francisco, in-office minimum 4 days per week.
5–7+ years in content strategy and management, copywriting, eCommerce merchandising, digital experience design, or website management, spanning both strategy and hands-on execution.
3–5+ years of experience in SEO, analytics, and website performance tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, Looker Studio).
Strong background and genuine passion for content strategy, copywriting, and websites with proven ability to shape narratives that resonate with users.
Strong left- and right-brain skills, comfortable working across disciplines: collaborating with UI/UX designers, developers, and data scientists to balance creativity with technical execution.
Highly organized, resourceful, and adaptable—able to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communicator and collaborator with experience engaging C-Suite and Founders.
Radical end-to-end ownership: you take initiative, drive progress, and get things done.
Bonus skills (any of the following are always valued on our creative team though not necessary): video production, graphic design, search engine marketing, Web3/crypto knowledge.
You possess US work authorization and are excited and ready for a collaborative, in-office role in San Francisco’s design district.
We are a fast-paced start up with extremely high ambitions. We are also fun and making a genuine impact on the world.
