Website Support Volunteer
Overview:
The Website Support volunteer will help maintain and improve our organization’s website. This role is vital to ensuring our online presence is accurate, up-to-date, and engaging for our community. As a volunteer-run organization, we rely on passionate individuals to help us make a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Maintenance & Development
Update website content (e.g., events, blog posts, pages) as requested.
Ensure all links, forms, and pages are working properly.
Upload images and documents in an optimized format.
Monitor the site for any technical issues or downtime.
Collaborate with team members to implement small design or content changes.
Provide basic troubleshooting or coordinate with external tech support if needed.
Maintain consistency in branding, style, and tone across the website.
These qualities and skills will be helpful:
Familiarity with website platforms.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and work independently.
Commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
Time Commitment:
Flexible hours, approximately 2–5 hours per week. Some weeks may be lighter or heavier depending on current needs or projects.
Location:
Remote – Must have access to a computer and internet.

What We Do
The Spokane County Democratic Central Committee (SCDCC), known as the Spokane County Democrats, is a local political organization in Washington state. It focuses on electing Democratic candidates to public office and promoting a platform based on human rights, social justice, and economic equity. The organization works to register voters, endorse candidates, and advocate for policies that benefit the community and ensure equal opportunity for all.
