ROLEWe're seeking a versatile Website Developer & Designer to build, customize, and maintain websites for Nexus Marketing's clients and Foundry for Good's family of brands. This is primarily a building role with a strong design sensibility — someone who can take a project from concept (or a designer's mockup, or a client's brand guidelines) to a polished, high-performing live site.
You'll own website creation, theme customization, and ongoing maintenance across a portfolio of sites built on WordPress and Webflow. Deep expertise in one of the two is a great starting point, with willingness to grow into the other. You'll work primarily within themes and visual editors rather than writing custom code from scratch, though comfort with HTML/CSS to fine-tune and troubleshoot is essential.
This is an ideal role for a mid-level web developer/designer who takes pride in craft, builds with performance and SEO in mind, and can juggle both new builds and recurring maintenance across many sites. You'll join client calls and present your work, while account managers own the day-to-day relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIESBuild new websites from scratch, from designer mockups, or from client brand guidelines on WordPress and/or Webflow
Customize themes, templates, and layouts to match brand and design direction
Own ongoing website maintenance, including updates, security, backups, performance optimization, bug fixes, content updates, and small feature additions
Translate designs and brand guidelines into clean, responsive, high-quality websites
Build with technical SEO and site performance in mind (page speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile responsiveness)
Manage and maintain multiple websites across Nexus clients and Foundry for Good brands simultaneously
Troubleshoot and resolve site issues quickly and reliably
Join client calls to present work, gather direction, and explain technical considerations clearly
Collaborate with designers, marketers, and account managers to deliver sites that meet client goals and quality standards
Maintain organized project files, documentation, and asset libraries
This is a work-from-home setup
Target of 42.5 billable hours per week
This role follows a consistent daily rhythm that aligns with US Eastern business hours while giving you time for rest, personal tasks, and balance throughout your day.
Here’s what a typical day looks like:
Start your day with a 4.5-hour work block: 9:30am–2:00pm (PHT)
Enjoy your afternoon free: 2:00pm–8:00pm (PHT)
Finish your workday with another 4.5-hour block: 8:00pm–12:30am (PHT)
Sleep/rest: 12:30am–9:30am (PHT)
This structure offers a long midday break while supporting strong collaboration with US-based teams during their business hours.
Work-from-home setup
Note: All of these times would shift 1 hour later when the time difference switches to 13 hour differences from 12 hour differences
REQUIREMENTSBased in the Philippines with consistent availability for a long-term role
3+ years of website development and design experience
Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present work clearly to clients
Strong academic background with an outstanding General Weighted Average
Degree in Web Development, Design, Computer Science, Multimedia Arts, or a related field
Deep expertise in WordPress or Webflow (expertise in both is a plus), with willingness to grow across both
Strong proficiency working within themes, templates, and visual editors (e.g., Elementor, Divi, Gutenberg, or Webflow's designer)
Solid HTML/CSS skills for customization and troubleshooting; JavaScript familiarity is a plus
A strong portfolio demonstrating polished, responsive websites
Good design sense and the ability to translate mockups and brand guidelines into high-quality sites
An understanding of technical SEO and site performance best practices (no need to be an SEO expert)
Comfort with design tools such as Figma (for working from mockups and handoff) and Adobe Suite or Canva is a plus
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple builds and maintenance work across many sites
Detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable in resolving issues
Comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Prior experience in an agency or fast-paced environment is a strong plus
Meet the Team
We currently have 100+ team members who live in the Philippines who have been fantastic team members and we’re excited to add new team members to this new role!
There are a few traits unique to our business that individuals should consider before applying.
You must love the idea of giving back to the community and nonprofits. There are thousands of jobs. If being involved in the success of nonprofits is something you’re truly passionate about, this could be a great role.
You must be extremely comfortable with change. As a small growing company, decisions can be made over a weekend and fully implemented by early the next week. Whether that’s new systems, new processes, or new approaches, we look for individuals who can adapt and thrive.
You must believe that the best contributors should get better rewards. As a company, we believe in paying people based on the value they generate at the business.
You must be willing to disagree and commit. As a growing business, there will be lots of decisions that get made and changes that occur during your time at the company. Some of which you’ll agree with and some you won’t, we strongly believe that the best team members have the ability to disagree and commit (i.e., going with a decision after it has been made regardless of whether or not you agree).
You must believe the status quo is unacceptable. As a growing company and as individuals, we believe the status quo is unacceptable. Everyone should be relentless in striving to be the best version of themselves and figure out ways to create more value at the company, enhance our client's results, and grow professionally. The question should always be “How can I be better” rather than “How can expectations be adjusted”.
