Your Role: Supporting Employee Wellness and Benefits Excellence
As a Benefits Specialist, you will play a key role in administering and supporting Webber's employee benefits programs with a strong emphasis on retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and vendor administration. You will serve as a trusted resource to employees, helping them understand and maximize their benefits while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and exceptional customer service across all benefit-related processes.
Fluency in English and Spanish is required, as this role regularly supports a diverse employee population across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support 401(k) and retirement programs, including funding, audits, testing, and employee inquiries.
- Review, reconcile, and process monthly benefits vendor invoices and billing.
- Conduct eligibility and enrollment audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Manage HSA account issues, Evidence of Insurability (EOI) tracking, and vendor reporting.
- Administer Wellness@Webber programs, communications, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist with annual enrollment activities and employee benefits education.
- Provide bilingual (English/Spanish) support to employees regarding benefits questions and programs.
- Partner with vendors, internal stakeholders, and participating employers to support benefits administration and process improvements.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Who You Are: A Profile of Success
- 3-5 years of Benefits or Human Resources experience, including retirement plan administration.
- Strong knowledge of 401(k) programs, benefits administration, and compliance practices.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Workday, and UKG preferred.
- PHR or SHRM certification is a plus.
- Highly organized with strong analytical, auditing, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
- Team-oriented professional capable of working independently and collaboratively.
