Anduril’s Electronic Warfare (EW) team is seeking full stack software engineers to build out the software ecosystem supporting a next-generation electronic warfare platform. As a full stack engineer, you'll design new features from the ground-up and implement these features as code with a primary focus on the front end.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Architect new features end-to-end
- Add features to our SITL (software-in-the-loop) simulation to test web app features against simulated real-world conditions
- Turn product requirements and end-user requests into well-designed web application features
- Work with a wide range of developers across the stack to devise the optimal solutions for asset/app communication.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Approaching Junior year or beyond at the time of the internship and Must be returning to school at the end of this internship to continue academic studies.
- Ideally experience working across the entire stack
- Experience distilling requirements from multiple often conflicting sources into a clear, actionable plan
- Experience with Javascript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS
- Experience with React and RxJS or some other UI Framework
- Experience developing software for user interface applications, ideally 3D, high-traffic, data-intensive, or map-based systems
- Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance.
- U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data.
- Ability to complete an in-person 12-week internship in Seattle, WA
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with client/server networking technologies and relationships such as TCP/UDP/Multicast, HTTP (REST), or protobuf/gRPC
- Experience with developing mission planning software for military operations
- Experience with Nix/NixOS.
- Experience (professional or in the setting of an open source community) working with typed functional programming languages (Haskell, Scala, F#, OCaml, Rust, etc.)
- Experience with software-defined digital radio systems.
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
