Role Overview:
The Product Designer at Usual will be responsible for driving the UX and visual design of our dApp and related platforms. The ideal candidate will have a blend of hard and soft skills that allow them to create user-centered, intuitive designs while effectively collaborating with product, development, and leadership teams. This person will also contribute to building and maintaining scalable design systems and ensure a seamless user experience across all touchpoints.
Key Responibilities:
- Product Design (Web3): Develop intuitive, user-centric interfaces for decentralized platforms that enhance the overall usability and adoption of the Usual protocol.
- Interaction Design: Create engaging micro-interactions and ensure fluid user experiences, paying special attention to user interactions and touchpoints.
- User Flows: Map out and design smooth user journeys, minimizing friction and ensuring a seamless, delightful experience.
- Prototyping: Build and test interactive prototypes, incorporating feedback from user testing and internal stakeholders to refine and iterate designs.
- Design Systems: Lead the creation, maintenance, and scalability of Usual's design system, ensuring visual consistency and ease of collaboration with developers.
- Website Building (Framer): Contribute to designing and building website interfaces in Framer, ensuring the Usual brand is reflected accurately and professionally.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the product, engineering, and marketing teams to align on product design goals, keeping user needs at the center of the decision-making process.
