Summary:
• Are you an experienced Web UI developer who can deliver high-performance, intuitive UI design and implementation, who also possesses some .NET C# knowledge
• Client is looking for a talented software engineer to assist in designing and creating the next generation of internal and external web applications to provision, manage, and deliver services to our subscribers.
• 5 years UI design and development experience using the following web client technologies. AngularJS, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/LESS, bootstrap.
• 2 years working with Microsoft ASP.NET 4.0 or newer in C# - Experience working with JSON and REST APIs
• Strong communication both verbal and written, excellent organizational skills, proven experience in collaboration with teams to achieve end result
• Ability to work in fast-paced Agile/Iterative environment to deliver requirements on specified dates
• Work very well independently with strong self-direction and initiative as well as within a team
• A strong desire to produce software that meets or exceeds expectations, and is delivered on time
• Find creative ways to bridge the client-server gap using unobtrusive techniques, client-side scripts, AJAX, and other available tools.
• Assist alongside the development team in standing up services in IIS through cookie-cutter ASP.NET Web APIs for JSON extending existing web methods
• Enterprise Service Bus and making them available for consumption by the client side application.
• Also help in adding and enhancing web services with session variable handling, logging and other basic operations
Skills Required
- 5 years UI design and development experience using AngularJS, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/LESS, Bootstrap
- 2 years working with Microsoft ASP.NET 4.0 or newer in C#
- Experience working with JSON and REST APIs
- Experience with AJAX and unobtrusive client-side scripting techniques
- Experience standing up services in IIS and creating/consuming ASP.NET Web APIs for JSON
- Familiarity with Enterprise Service Bus integration for client-side consumption
- Ability to add and enhance web services with session variable handling and logging
- Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile/Iterative environment and deliver to deadlines
- Ability to work independently with self-direction and as part of a team
